Fisheries Registration Courses
As a result of the introduction of the Aquatic Animal Health regulations, named individuals either owning or leasing fisheries in England and Wales will be required to register with Cefas (Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science). The Institute of Fisheries Management is offering an educational short course to increase awareness and understanding around the need for registration as well as the related aspects of successful management. Registration forms will also be available at each event.
The course will follow a lecture format with each subject delivered by industry experts. A delegate’s booklet covering all the content will be made available on the day, as well as Cefas and Environment Agency material.

Fish health and disease prevention

Cost will be £10 for IFM members and £15 for non members. This will cover the full course including a delegate pack providing the course material and refreshments.
Discounted IFM membership will also be available on the evening.
