Programme Manager - River Eden Restoration Strategy

A very exciting opportunity has arisen to work on a river habitat restoration co-delivery programme with our partners the Environment Agency and Natural England. The Strategy, now in its third year, is delivering and planning an innovative and large scale rolling portfolio of river restoration projects.

The post entails:

·       Project management of the River Eden Restoration Strategy, including;

-       Planning, designing and implementing a strategic programme of river habitat restoration and assisted natural recovery projects.

Angling Trust. Fishery Management Advisors (3 posts)

The Angling Trust is seeking to appoint dynamic individuals with wildlife management and conservation experience, as well as a keen interest in angling, as Fisheries Management Advisors (FMAs) for a one-year project.  Working with other FMAs, your objective will be to help fisheries across England to reduce the impact of serious damage from predation by fish-eating birds such as cormorants, while conserving the wild bird populations.
