National Senior Fisheries Management Advisor with the EA

The role    This post manages a small team providing the national lead in freshwater and migratory fisheries ecology and management. With the team's support, the post provides the leading advice and direction for the Environment Agency and advises Defra and other national and EU partners on such matters as delivery of England's eel management plans and monitoring and management of salmon stocks. 

Scientist (Aquatic/Fisheries)

Central Scotland - Full Time/Permanent - Role: to support an expanding aquatic/fisheries team with consultation and scoping, survey and analysis, reporting and management.  

Desired skills and experience to include:- 

·         river basin / catchment scale surveys and planning;

·         water framework directive monitoring (biology, hydromorphology and chemistry);
