National events

We run a number of national and local events each year. Nationally one or more conferences are organised aimed at members and non-members where we can discuss environment and fisheries issues, particularly new developments. These events act as a forum for fisheries professional to meet and share experiences.

Branches events

Our branches organise meetings and seminars on many aspects of fisheries management. These are normally on a smaller scale than our national events but still open to members and non-members.

CPD points are available for UK and International conferences.
Attendance: 3 credits per half day, 6 credits for a full day, maximum of 12 credits in total
Presenting paper/poster or organising the event: 6 credits
Writing a technical/academic paper: 6 credits
