Trout Stream Management in the Real World - Eden Rivers Trust is organising a workshop on the 23rd / 24th March at the Tufton Arms Hotel, Appleby, Cumbria. We have now confirmed a very exciting programme of practical speakers. More details here
This is most definitely not a theoretical workshop - it will have practical benefits to all of those individuals and organisations out there involved in the 'muck and bullets' of stream and river management. Members of angling clubs and associations are particularly welcome to attend.
The event is being jointly co-ordinated by Eden Rivers Trust, The Wild Trout Trust and Association of Rivers Trusts with generous financial support from The Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, Wild Trout Trust, Environment Agency, APEM Ltd and Institute of Fisheries Management (NW).
We have kept costs to a bare minimum and attendance is priced at a very reasonable £50 for both days (excluding accom and evening meal). Through the above sponsorship we are able to offer a number of funded places for delegates from fishing clubs and other small charitable trusts. Please contact ERT Fisheries Officer Rebbecca Chaffer for more details (Rebbecca@edenriverstrust.org.uk)
