The 39th Annual Conference of the Institute of Fisheries Management was held at the Royal Armouries, Leeds between October 14th and 16th 2008.
The theme of the conference was ‘Breaking down the Barriers’ and the conference included sessions on physical & chemical barriers, barriers to understanding, barriers to participation and barriers to successful fisheries.
Conference proceedings are currently being compiled - could any authors who have not yet done so please submit their papers to Steve Axford or Richard Noble as soon as possible.
Thanks to the organising committee, the Royal Armouries and Holiday Inn Express for making the Conference a success.
