Photos must be titled (with a short description), your name and the category the photo is being entered in to. For example:
Name (Ful name) ................................ Photo Title ........................... Photo Description (about the image, and where taken) ..................... Category entered ............................. E-mail address ...............................
Rules
- Entrants can enter up to three images in each of the four categories. Images must have been taken in the last two years (2005 - present).
- All entries must be the sole work of the photographer and unpublished at the time of submission to the IFM.
- Photos entered in last years (winter 2005/2006) competition will be invalid for this years competition.
- Photos should ideally be supplied in digital form as 300 dpi JEPEG images (.jpg). However, transparencies and colour prints are also eligible.
- All transparencies, discs and colour prints/print outs should bear the full name and address of the photographer, as well as indicating which category they are entered into. Images may be entered in one category only. Illegible entries will be disqualified.
- The judges will be nominated by the IFM.
- Judging of the Competition should be completed by the end of April 2007. Entries will be judged anonymously.
- Copyright of winning images will rest with the photographer. However entry into the Competition will permit unrestricted, un-credited use of entered photos by the IFM and/or the competition sponsor for promotional purposes.
- Photographers should obtain permission from any identifiable people in their compositions prior to entering the picture into the competition.
- We can not return any images.
- Entering the Competition implies acceptance of these rules.
Notes
- Entrants do not necessarily have to be IFM members but if you wish to become a member then please visit the joining the IFM pages.
- There are no age restrictions for the photo competition - there are also no age categories.
