IFM Photo Competition: Darren Wilson
Yorkshire & North East Branch

Yorkshire and the North East is a highly varied place in terms of fisheries, from the ‘best salmon river in England’; the Tyne to large lowland rivers like the Yorkshire Ouse. This is reflected in the great diversity of members.

The branch in the past has organised lots of great talks and workshops, but has unfortunately remained dormant for several years. The good news however is that the wheels are back in motion, after a ‘revival’ meeting in early July this year, Mike Lee has taken on the role of branch secretary from Ian Dolben, who now is chair, whilst Steve Axford is acting as treasurer.

The branch is currently in the process of drafting a highly varied programme of events and workshop, across the region for 2006. Please do not hesitate in contacting the branch secretary with any ideas for future events remember it is your IFM!
